The Grand Vitara is built on the partnership between Maruti Suzuki and Toyota. It is based on the global C platform and will be manufactured at Toyota’s facility near Bengaluru along with Toyota’s Hyryder.
The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara will be available in six variant options – Sigma, Delta, Zeta, Alpha, Zeta+, and Alpha+. It will be available in nine colours, including six monotone and three dual-tone options: NEXA Blue, Arctic White, Splendid Silver, Grandeur Grey, Chestnut Brown, Opulent Red, Arctic White with Black, Splendid Silver with Black and Opulent Red with Black.
The SUV will be available in manual and automatic models. Further, there will be monotone and dualtone options.
Specification
The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara will be offered in two engine options. 1.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol and 1.5-litre 3-cylinder petrol engines.
The SUV comes with muscular wheel arches with 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
The new Vitara has a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with mild hybrid technology that claims to offer 103 bhp of power and 137 Nm of torque. This engine is offered with a 5-speed manual transmission or an optional 6-speed AT with paddle shifters.
It is also being offered in 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder strong hybrid engine paired to an e-CVT borrowed from Toyota. This engine produces 116 bhp of power and 122 Nm of torque.
You can own the Grand Vitara through Maruti Suzuki Subscribe at an all-inclusive monthly subscription fee starting from Rs 27,000.
Maruti is offering inclusive special introductory package consisting of extended warranty till 5 years / 1 lakh km and a PRISTINE Genuine NEXA Accessory pack worth over Rs. 67 000 with the Electric Hybrid variants.
The Grand Vitara boasts some nifty features such as split headlamp, shark-fin antenna, a panoramic sunroof, fully digital instrument display, a 360-degree camera among others. Some of these features though will be exclusive to high-end models.
