Maruti Suzuki IGNIS gets Hill Hold Assist feature, price hiked by Rs 27,000

India’s top car maker, Maruti Suzuki has hiked the price of its IGNIS hatchback.

“The price change varies across models and ranges upto Rs. 27,000 (Ex-Showroom – Delhi),” the carmaker said in a BSE filing.

The new prices are effective from today i.e. 24th February 2023.

Maruti Suzuki also said that the IGNIS is now come equipped with Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Hill Hold Assist as standard feature across all the variants providing an added safety shield for its customers. It is also compliant with the upcoming E20 and Real Driving Emission
(RDE) norms.

Available in nine colour variants, the Maruti Suzuki IGNIS is priced Rs 5.55 lakh onwards (Delhi, ex-showroom).

It comes with 1.2 Lt petrol engine offers power of 61 KW at 6000 rpm and 113NM torque. Maruti had earlier discontinued its diesel variant.

It is availavble in seven trims with top end models offering nifty features like 17.8 cm infotainment, four speakers, DRLs, LED projector headlamps etc.
