In addition, MARVEL AGE #1000 will bring back a classic and beloved Marvel Comics tradition: The Marvel Comics Value Stamp! Who or what will the ultimate Marvel Value Stamp, #1000, feature?
The new one-shot takes its name from the original Marvel Age, a promotional series that Marvel published for 140 issues beginning in 1983. The final issue of that monthly series released in September 1994; had it continued, August 2023 would bring the series up to issue #487. So slightly less impressive than #1000 I suppose.
Marvel Age #1000 follows in the footsteps of other anniversary issues from Marvel, most notably 2018’s Marvel Comics #1000 (and subsequent #1001, because why not) and last year’s Amazing Fantasy #1000.
Look for Marvel Age #1000 to arrive in stores on Wednesday, August 31st.
