Mason Greenwood has been spotted training on a football pitch for the first time since his arrest last year.
The suspended Manchester United striker was pictured at a public sports centre and was put through his paces by a private coach.
The images were taken by The Sun, showing Greenwood training away from Carrington and not wearing any United gear.
Greenwood has been suspended by the club since he was charged with attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour and assault occasioning actual bodily harm in October last year.
Those charges were withdrawn in February but he is still suspended while the club carry out their investigation over whether the 21-year-old brought Manchester United into disrepute and therefore breached his contract.
He was recently named on United’s retained list as he is still under contract, although the club state that the investigation is not impacted by that.
The striker has not played for Manchester United since 22 January 2022 when he started in a 1-0 win over West Ham in the Premier League.
Greenwood has told friends that he believes his United career is over.
United have received loan offers from two Turkish clubs for Greenwood but are unwilling to approve any deal until their own investigation is complete.
Greenwood is also prepared to make a dramatic transfer to Asia, according to reports.
