The automaker is offering three engine options, two drivetrains, and various custom package options, and is also debuting a new exterior colour — Platinum Quartz Metallic — as a new feature for buyers.

With a Skyactiv-G 2.0-liter engine that delivers 155 horsepower and 150 lb-ft of torque, the Mazda3 and Mazda3 Sport GX model come paired to either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.

Its 8.8-inch center display has the latest Mazda Connect infotainment system, and it includes two front USB inputs, Bluetooth, and Apple CarPlay. There are also options for keyless illuminated entry and its exterior has a matte-finish front grille and silver-finish 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels.

Meanwhile, the Mazda3 Sport GS offers a 2.5-liter engine capable of 186 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed like last year’s version, the Sport GS has a wide array of safety features, including radar cruise control, Smart-City brake support, and pedestrian detection.

Other features include heated exterior mirrors; automatic dual-zone climate controls; and a heated steering wheel. Interested buyers can upgrade to the GS luxury package for premium touches, such as a driver’s seat memory function, a power moonroof, and a 10-way power adjustable seat.

In fact, the Mazda3 GT takes the luxury package of the previous model to a new level. With Bose speakers and leather seating options, this car rests on 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels.

Saving the best for last — the Mazda3 GT Turbo . Powered by the Skyactiv-G 2.5 Turbo engine, it delivers an impressive 250 horsepower and a robust 320 lb-ft of torque (on premium 93 octane fuel). With regular 87 octane in the tank, the turbo engine is capable of 227 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque.

The 2022 model shares much of the same features seen in the 2021 and the Mazda3 GT. Slight changes include 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels, gloss black heated door mirrors, and a gloss black front grille.
