The game show is returning to screens later this year with a new line-up of superathletes ready to compete on the BBC series which is being hosted by Bradley Walsh and his son Barney.
Here is the list of the champions for the Gladiators revival:
Giant
Jamie Christian Johal goes by the name of Giant as he stands at 6ft 5 inches.
The former firefighter turned bodybuilder is in the history books for being one of the tallest bodybuilders of all time.
A BBC spokesperson said: “He may look like a big, friendly giant, but don’t be fooled, he won’t be holding back when it comes to the games.”

Legend
Matt Morsia trains up to six times a week in bodybuilding and powerlifting and is a former international athlete.
He adored the “showmanship” of competing when they were a triple jumper and powerlifter.
He’s now a fitness influencer and YouTuber, with more than 355 million views on his channel.
Legend shared: “I’ve been training like a beast for the show but realistically I didn’t need to. I could’ve spent the last two months eating doughnuts and playing Dungeons & Dragons and I’d still be better than everyone else.”

Fire
Montell Douglas goes by the name Fire and is set on destroying anyone who gets in her way.
The former Olympic bobsledder and Team GB sprinter held the British woman’s record for the fastest 100m sprint at 11.05 seconds which was unbeaten for 27 years.
Fire said: “As a strong and powerful woman, I’m living proof that you can achieve your dreams, no matter what age or background, if you believe and keep pushing. I’m ready to light up the competition!”
Nitro
Harry Aikines Aryeetey is renowned for being lightning fast which is how he coined the name Nitro.
During his career, he’s won gold four times in the men’s 100m European Championships and at the Commonwealth Games.
In 2005, he won the 2005 BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year at the age of 17.
Diamond
Diamond stands at 6ft and took up bodybuilding after graduating with a degree in sports science.
Her real name is Livi Sheldon and her lust for sports began at the age of six when she played on a boys’ football team.
She went on to play for Worcester City Ladies’ team and said of singing up for Gladiators: “I can’t wait to get into the arena and take on the contenders as Diamond.”
They will be joining previously announced Fury and Steel as part of the new generation of Gladiators which is set to air later this year.
