Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly Got Engaged in Matching Manicures

In case you missed it, actor Megan Fox and musician Machine Gun Kelly shared the exciting news that they got engaged via their respective Instagram accounts on January 12. Fox posted a video of the proposal, and in the caption, she wrote that in July 2020 the pair sat beneath and asked for a magical relationship from the same banyan tree where Kelly proposed. That magic seemed to do its job more than a year later.

Although she looked gorgeous in her black two-piece, it’s her metallic French manicure and two-stone engagement ring we can’t stop staring at. Kelly shared a video showing a close-up of Fox’s hand. Her engagement ring has a diamond and an emerald that Kelly had custom-made by Stephen Webster. In the caption, he explained he chose two stones instead of one to represent their respective birthstones. The emerald is Fox’s birthstone, while the diamond is his. The pear-shaped stones were placed upside-down on a band of thorns and were designed to represent “two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love.” How more on-brand for this couple could it get?

When the video of the ring zooms out, you’re able to see Fox’s silver-tipped French manicure. The chrome C-shaped tips cover almost half of her long, almond-shaped nails. Fox’s metallic twist on the French manicure gives it an edge, which only makes sense when you’re dating a rockstar. In the video you can see Kelly’s thumbnail, which is covered in a similar silver polish — perhaps the polish is from his nail brand, UN/DN LAQR.

This wouldn’t be the first time the duo had coordinated manicures. In late 2021, at the celebration of Kelly’s beauty brand launch, they were literally chained together by their pink nails. If that’s not love, then we don’t know what is.
