Megan Rapinoe isn’t one to shy away from bold hair colors. We loved her bright magenta tone from 2019, her electric purple and blue highlights from 2020, and her eccentric half-turquoise, half-pink hair from this year. Now, she’s got a brand-new color, and you can probably guess what tone is next for the soccer star.
On May 9, Rapinoe posted a series of five photos to Instagram. “Fits and other shenanigans,” she captioned the post. Though she tried to make her outfits the star of the carousel, we think we can all agree that the most important part of the photos was the debut of her new green hair.
Her signature pixie cut is parted on the side with her hairs short on either side of her head and a bit longer on top. It’s dyed a light green, almost turquoise hue, but if you look closely, you will see that her roots are still her natural brown color, giving a bit of depth to the full look. Plus, the color really compliments her skin, so kudos to Rapinoe on the selection of the color.
