Meghan Markle is ready to celebrate! Her birthday that is.
The Duchess of Sussex turns 42 on Friday, August 4, and according to Mayah Riaz, PR to the stars, she should plan on being “treated” by her husband Prince Harry.
But she could also be planning a “toned down gathering” which could include some of her “famous friends.”
Since their royal exit, Harry and Meghan’s road to success has been bumpy, with highs like their Netflix documentary Harry & Meghan, and lows like the backlash received from their interview with Oprah and his memoir Spare.
But it has also been full of a group of Hollywood A-listers like Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz, and Serena Williams.
Now, according to Mayah, Meghan and Harry could celebrate her big day with a few of their famous pals.
“We know the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have a few famous friends. Recently they had dinner with Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband, Brad Fulchuck, Cameron Diaz and her husband, Benji Madden. It’s likely that Oprah, Serena Williams, Mariah Carey and Ellen might help Meghan celebrate her special day too,” she told The Mirror.
The PR expert also believes that the Duchess of Sussex could also tie in her philanthropic work to her birthday, but it is highly unlikely that she would make any news about it public.
Whether she spends it with famous friends or not, Mayah believes that that Meghan should plan on being “treated” by Prince Harry.
“It’s quite possible that Meghan will spend the day of her actual birthday at home in Montecito, surrounded by her two children, Prince Harry, possibly her mother Doria and their rescue dogs. Meghan may also choose to celebrate her special day with a small, intimate gathering. This could be with friends at their home or at a restaurant,” Mayah said.
While her plans could include a quiet night at home or a gathering of some of her famous friends, it is safe to say that it will not include former Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel.
Bethenny recently slammed the Sussexes for “living inside” their own heads since leaving the royal family in a viral TikTok.
“I almost feel badly, like I think I do feel badly, because I can’t imagine having so much at your fingertips and letting it all slip away because of living inside your own head,” Bethenny said in her clip.
“And thinking every single thing that you do and say and want is so fascinating that you should be accepting awards at podiums around the world. Why?”
“How do you do every single thing wrong?” Bethenny continued.
