Meghan’s talent agency William Morris Endeavour wants to “re-invent” the actress and apparently the world of high fashion will help to do just that.

“There have been rumours for weeks that she’s about to sign a deal with Dior which has put the gossip mill into overdrive,” a source told the Mail on Sunday.

“If she pulls that off, then no one will remember that her silly little podcast got cancelled after one season.”

That’s right, Meghan and husband Prince Harry were set to lose millions following Spotify’s decision to cancel their podcast.

But a deal “worth hundreds of millions of dollars” with Dior would make them forget a second season of Archetypes.

Meghan has become friendly with marketing expert Victoria Jackson, who is behind one of the first infomercial makeup empires.

“Meghan and Victoria are very close,” an insider told the Mail. “If anyone can help Meghan develop a skincare or makeup brand, it’s Victoria and Bill.”

Brand and culture expert Nick Ede told the Mail that a Dior/Meghan partnership would be a win-win situation.

“Meghan could become one of the biggest influencers in the world,” Ede said. “She is already one of the most talked about and photographed people so maximizing her profit and aligning herself with these brands is a very lucrative step.”

He added that it could rival the revenue Kim Kardashian has brought to Dolce & Gabbana over the years.

“The whole Kardashian family had a commercial relationship with Dolce and Gabbana which proved massive for brand sales and their family in fees,” Ede explained.

“With a brand like Dior affiliating with her they could be spending millions on her and make millions too,” he said. “Meghan therefore could command millions by being a face of Dior and she could make hundreds of thousands per post.”

If Meghan does sign with the brand, she would join other stars like Rihanna, Jennifer Lawrence and Johnny Depp.

The Dior news comes amid reports that Meghan could revive her former blog The Tig, and could rival Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop, which is worth somewhere in the neighbourhood of $332.5 million.

Meghan shut down the blog three years after her engagement to Harry was announced but she recently renewed the trademark for the website.
