Meghan Markle’s family make plea for reunion in exchange for never giving another interview

Meghan Markle’s estranged family sat down for the “last interview” ever in a plea for the duchess to see the light.

Meghan’s father, Thomas Markle, her half-brother Tom Jr. and half-sister Samantha filmed a sit-down with Australia’s Channel 7 and discussed their rift with Meghan as well as shared home videos from her childhood.

Samantha slammed Meghan for not staying in touch with their father, claiming the Suits actress “would still be a waitress if it wasn’t for Dad.”

She added that Meghan and Prince Harry and “really unhealthy for each other” and called their relationship “toxic.”

If Meghan was to reconcile with her estranged family, they agreed to meet with her if “it was a real get-together” and not a publicity stunt.

“She would be invited if she came walking out that door,” Thomas Jr. joked before adding, “And Harry would be invited as well.”

Thomas, however, claimed he would never do another interview if Meghan would reunite with the family, but Samantha Markle doubts that will ever happen.

“I don’t think she would do it without a motive,” Samantha said. “I don’t think she’s capable of empathy, remorse or shame. I don’t think she could feel enough to apologize.”

Thomas Jr. also flipped, saying he, his sister and their father have no intention of staying out of the spotlight.

“We’re not going to go away. This is going to change everything,” he said during the interview.

According to Thomas, who says he still watches home videos of Meghan “now and again,” his youngest daughter never reached out to him since he suffered a stroke.

“I wish that we can sit down and talk. I wish we could work out our differences,” he said in the interview. “She loved me. I’m her hero. And suddenly, I was thrown out.”

Meghan and Thomas’ relationship fell apart right before her 2018 wedding, when he was scheduled to walk her down the aisle but pulled out last minute after news of his arrangement with paparazzi was leaked.

Meghan noted during the Oprah interview that Thomas’ decisions were the reason she “lost” her father, noting his inability to tell the truth about the paparazzi photos caused the rift.

“That, for me, has really resonated, especially now as a mother,” Meghan said at the time. “And also me saying just full stop, ‘If we use this to protect you, we won’t be able to protect our own children one day, well, I’m talking about your grandchildren.’”

She added: “I look at [my son] Archie, I think about this child and … I genuinely can’t imagine doing anything to intentionally cause pain to my child. I can’t imagine it. So it’s hard for me to reconcile that.”
