Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, just served up every last ounce of formal hair inspiration you could ever need with her latest look. Markle and her husband Prince Harry left their California home and flew to New York to attend the 2022 Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Ripple of Hope Award Gala on December 6, with Markle donning a sleek off-the-shoulder white Louis Vuitton sheath gown that paired perfectly with her tight, classic chignon style.
Markle’s hair was parted in the middle and slicked down so nary a hair was out of place, then pulled back in a low, knotted chignon at the base of her neck. The style was equal parts formal and classic, not to mention beyond shiny. (The prince, for his part, wore a classic slim-fitting suit.)
As for the rest of her beauty look, the Duchess kept things minimal with a hint of shimmer, letting her freckles peek through her makeup and opting for a glimmering bronze eye, fluttery lashes, and black liner on both her top and lower lashes. A shiny beige gloss and a hint of bronzer and highlighter brought the glam, as did a pair of diamond drop earrings. Can you get more elegant than this? I don’t think you can.
