Meghan Markle has had some iconic fashion moments so far in 2022. These include her stunning, sleek and sophisticated looks from the Queen’s Jubilee to the Invictus Games. But what has been her most expensive outfit thus far?
Insurance provider, wearesosure.com, analysed social media and Google Trends data to break down Meghan’s top outfits from head to toe, to calculate the value of her entire wardrobe.
The Duchess’ most costly outfit so far in 2022, according to the research, was worn at her first public engagement of the year, back in February, but was made so expensive by one particular jewel.
Meghan stepped out in a stunning blue Christopher John Rogers gown for the 53rd NAACP Image Awards. The beautiful bespoke custom design gown was created in an off-the-shoulder design from blue-ombre silk chiffon, forming a stunning silhouette.
The mother of two accessorised her gown with Crystal-embellished Aquazzura leather-heeled sandals.

According to the website, these shoes are “made from gold leather and embellished with tiny crystals along the knotted straps – they’ll sparkle beautifully, even in low light.
“The 105mm stiletto heels have a leg-lengthening effect, whether you wear them with a mini skirt or gown.”
The Duchess also accessorised with some Crumpled Metal 14K Gold-Plated Post earrings by Alex Bittar.
For some extra glamour, Meghan wore a Cartier ‘Love’ bangle, her engagement ring on one hand and a Lorraine Schwartz Diamond Ring, said to be an ‘eternity ring’ from Prince Harry on the other. The estimated cost of this piece alone is £4million – elevating the cost of Meghan’s outfit tremendously.
In contrast, the Duchess’ incredible five-carat engagement ring is only thought to be worth £134,500.

Meghan additionally wore Princess Diana’s Gold Cuff Bracelet with Blue Stones gifted to her by Harry, which matched the gown perfectly.
This outfit cost in total came to a whopping value of £4,239,792.19.
In comparison, her second most expensive look of the year was a more casual outfit she wore to the Invictus Games in April.
Although the Duchess wore quite an elevated smart-casual look, it still came to a mesmerising value of £31,438.02 in total.

For this smart-casual look that came with a cost, Meghan stepped out on Day 2 of the Invictus Games in a gorgeous white belted Brandon Maxwell Jacket.
This jacket cost roughly £2,000 in British Sterling and is a “belted blazer that wraps at the waist for a cinched fit”.
According to the website, you can “Wear this versatile style with jeans or tailored pants for a flattering silhouette”.
Meghan opted to wear it with jeans for a more casual look at her husband’s Invictus Games in The Netherlands.
She paired the jacket with a casual pair of straight-leg jeans and Manolos. Her wonderful wavey hair cascaded over a pair of beautiful blue sapphire and emerald earrings by Sarah Hendler.
These earrings from Los Angeles cost roughly £1,700 in British Sterling and feature Black Rhodium, Precious Gemstones, and solid 18K yellow gold.
Meghan’s favourite gold pieces were worn to tie the look together, a £6,350 gold Cartier bangle and £8,495 watch, a £9,950 Bentley & Skinner tennis bracelet and a pair of £2,943 Shiffon rings.
Shiffon’s 1972 Tennis Pinky Ring pays homage to the iconic Tennis Bracelet. This diamond all-around version of their signature pinky ring supports women with 19.72 percent of profits going to a Women in Sports Investment fund.
