Megyn Kelly blasts ‘bloated’ Leonardo DiCaprio’s dating life

After he was recently linked to a 19-year-old model, Megyn Kelly fears Leonardo DiCaprio is going to be “banging teenagers for the rest of his life.”

The conservative personality weighed in on the rumours that the 48-year-old Oscar winner is dating Israeli model Eden Polani.

“He is now dating a teenager, literally a teenager,” Kelly fumed on an episode of her SiriusXM podcast The Megyn Kelly Show on Tuesday before an insider close to the actor shot down the claim.

Kelly was responding to reports that DiCaprio, who has been criticized in the past for dating younger women, was involved with Polani after the two were recently photographed at a record release party in Los Angeles.

As a pic of the pair quickly made the rounds, people reacted explosively to the possibility that DiCaprio is dating someone who is six years younger than his breakout role in 1997’s Titanic.

“There’s a dog now who’s older than Leonardo DiCaprio’s girlfriend. Let that sink in for a moment,” one critic swiped, referencing the world’s oldest dog, 30-year-old Bobi.

But a source close to DiCaprio shot down any talk that he is romancing the model telling TMZ that just because he was sitting next to Polani doesn’t mean they’re an item.

“He’s in the news every week for how he won’t date anybody past the age of 25,” Kelly continued. “Now he’s gone down to a teenager. She could literally be his daughter.”

Kelly also took a swipe at DiCaprio’s appearance, saying he “looks almost as bad as Madonna.”

“He is bloated — you could tell this guy partied a little bit too much. He’s got a big bloated look, like ugh. Step away from the booze.”

Kelly acknowledged Polani’s good looks, but insisted his shallow relationships aren’t going to be fulfilling in the long run.

“She’s gorgeous … great, she’s a supermodel, of course they all are. But I feel like this guy, at the rate [he’s going] is never going to know the joy of meeting someone he can fall in deep love with and build a family with. He’s just going to keep banging teenagers for the rest of his life.”

On social media, Kelly’s remarks were met with a mixed response, with many siding with DiCaprio.

“Do adult women get to make adult choices or no?” one follower questioned, while another added, “It’s 2023 and a 19-year-old sure knows what she signed up for.”

“Let him live his life,” a third wrote.

“How would Megyn Kelly like it if Leonardo DiCaprio talked about her looks in the way she talked about his?” a fourth person responded.

In the past, DiCaprio has dated supermodels Gisele Bundchen and Bar Refaeli and actress Blake Lively.

Last August, The Wolf of Wall Street star split with 25-year-old actress Camila Morrone after four years together.

In a 2019 interview with the Los Angeles Times, Morrone opened up about how the “large age gap” between the couple wasn’t an issue.

“There’s so many relationships in Hollywood — and in the history of the world — where people have large age gaps. I just think anyone should be able to date who they want to date,” she said. “I feel like there should always be an identity besides who you’re dating. … I understand the association, but I’m confident that will continue to slip away and be less of a conversation.”

After the two split, Twitter users lashed out at DiCaprio, accusing the Don’t Look Up star of being allegedly ageist.

“There’s no phenomenon on this planet more reliable than Leonardo DiCaprio breaking up with his girl by age 25,” one person sniped, while another jokingly added, “Maybe Leonardo DiCaprio hated 9/11 so much that he can’t even date women who remember it. Did that even occur to you?”

Since his breakup with Morrone, DiCaprio has been linked to a number of different women, including supermodel Gigi Hadid and 23-year-old actress Victoria Lamas.
