Megyn Kelly blasts Kim Kardashian for bringing daughter to ‘gross’ Met Gala

Megyn Kelly is giving Kim Kardashian a piece of her mind after the reality star invited her 9-year-old daughter North West to tag along to watch her walk the red carpet at Monday’s “gross” Met Gala.

“Like is that what you want your daughter to see you doing?” Kelly said during a conversation with the The Hodgetwins on an episode of the SiriusXM podcast of The Megyn Kelly Show. “Who brings their kid to watch them walk the red carpet?”

Kelly continued: “You want her to see you like basically wearing next to nothing, parading into the Met Gala. Okay fine … I’m sorry, but it’s gross.”

The talk show host also hit out at rapper Lil Nas X for attending the “debauchery”-filled event dressed as a cat in tribute to the late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld. “This is a man. What’s happening?” she said, laughing.

Lagerfeld was the honouree at the A-list event with many paying tribute to the fashion houses where he worked during a career that spanned more than 60 years.

“Some of us brought our kids to presidential debates and thought that might make a nice impression,” Kelly added, taking a swipe at Kardashian.

“I went to the Met Gala,” she added. “I’ve been to these events. I don’t take my kid.”

Kelly recalled her experience attending the event in 2017 revealing that she encountered “dry humping” in the lady’s washroom with the Kardashians and rapper P. Diddy.

“It was really gross and classless, and I thought, ‘What am I doing here?’” Kelly said. “Models were smoking in the bathroom of The Met. Get out! Put your cigarette away, you classless losers!”

This isn’t the first time Kelly has slammed Kim and the rest of the Kardashians.

Last fall, Kelly took aim at Kim over her partnership with with Balenciaga after the luxury fashion brand launched an ad campaign that featured children clutching dolls adorned in clothing associated with BDSM — bondage, discipline, dominance, submission and sadomasochism — lifestyles.

“Even though she’s a billionaire, she’s a disgusting, shameful billionaire because the money is worth more than her morals and the protection of these children to her,” Kelly said in conversation with former Miss California Carrie Prejean Boller

Kelly continued to attack the reality star for “inventing selfie culture.”

“The country has made her a billionaire and she can’t be bothered to do the right thing when the circumstances are staring her dead in the face,” Kelly said. “She’s exploited her own children, the same way her mother exploited her. Now, she doesn’t see the ethical lines.”

Kelly also cheered when Kim was booed mercilessly at an NFL game last October.

“I’ve been going on a tear over her for the past couple of days because every time I open my paper, there she is again, and I find it deeply alarming … I don‘t feel sorry for her,” Kelly said.

“Like, what are we celebrating? Her enormous fake ass? Her extreme plastic surgery? She has orchestrated every single one of the photographs you’ve ever seen (of her). Every single time, the paparazzi has been lured by her and then she shows the bottom and then she Photoshops it and then she denies she’s done any of that s—. Girls all over America are asking, ‘Why isn’t my bottom five times the size that it is without any surgery? I must be inadequate.’”
