Melania Trump “doesn’t want to rock the boat” after a jury found her husband Donald Trump liable for sexual abuse and defamation earlier this week.
According to a source, the former First Lady is unlikely to speak out on the result, found in a civil trial.
As a result of the verdict, the former President has been ordered to pay $5 million ($2 million for sexual abuse and nearly $3 million for defamation) in damages to a journalist.
They found Trump liable for sexually assaulting and defaming the columnist E. Jean Carroll.
The source said: “Melania knows who her husband is and will stay below the radar on this as she usually does.

“She rarely speaks out on his scandals. She turns her head the other way and moves on with her life.”
The source told PEOPLE that the E. Jean Carroll verdict “is embarrassing for her and for her family but she has a good life and doesn’t want to rock the boat.
“Her whole family has had a better life thanks to her marriage to Donald.”
“It shouldn’t be such a huge surprise for her,” the source said, adding Melania “will weather the storm as she has done in the past. She has a son and his protection is her most important job.”
But fans’ thoughts were with Melania after the trial came to an end.
After the jury reached their conclusion internet users started asking questions about Melania, originally from Slovenia.
One Twitter user asked: “I wonder how Melania is feeling about the outcome of the case? Will she stay married to him?”
