Mamelodi Sundowns fans welcomed new midfielder Junior Mendieta’s arrival who joins the Tshwane side from Stellenbosch FC, check out what they said.
Sundowns could not divulge the length of the creative midfielder’s contract, Mendieta but took to official social media channels to allow the fans to welcome the Argentine.

The Kaboyellow family have warmly welcomed the new arrival, Mendieta and some fans say he will definitely win big things while also taking a swipe at rivals, Kaizer Chiefs.
WHAT SUNDOWNS FANS SAID TO NEW SIGNING MENDIETA
Upon his arrival, the 29-year-old old South American midfielder, Mendieta is also urged to work hard and force his way into the star-studded Sundowns starting line-up.
His confirmation comes just after his former club, Stellenbosch released a statement announcing that he has agreed to join Sundowns on a permanent deal.

“Argentine midfielder Júnior Mendieta has signed on the dotted line! Let’s welcome the newest member of the Yellow Nation in the comments!” wrote Sundowns on Twitter.

MENDIETA OFFICIALLY EXITS STELLIES TO DOWNS
As reported by The South African earlier, Sundowns waited for Stellies to announce his departure before unveiling the Argentine’s arrival at Chloorkop.
Sundowns managed to beat fellow DStv Premiership giants such as Chiefs and SuperSport United for Mendieta’s signature.

The Cape Winelands-based club’s announcement followed Mendieta’s farewell message to the club and Stellenbosch supporters last week.
“Júnior Mendieta has completed a permanent transfer to Mamelodi Sundowns,” said Stellenbosch.
