Mercedes-Benz announces Canadian pricing for electric EQB

Mercedes-Benz Canada mid-June announced pricing and availability details for its all-new electric SUV, the EQB. The 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQB 350 4Matic will start from $75,700. Of course, Mercedes customers have many options to add on to the base price, including the Premium Package, Sport Package, Night Package, and Intelligent Drive Package.

Set to arrive in Canadian dealerships in late 2022, the SUV uses a pair of electric motors that create 288 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque, via electric all-wheel-drive. It has an estimated range of 419 kilometres.

If desired, families will be able to take advantage of the optional third row, which provides additional seats for up to seven passengers.

Offered in only a base trim, the EQB SUV will get the new-generation MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) Multimedia System with Augmented Reality Navigation system with Electric Intelligence, which can be used on the 10.25” digital instrument cluster and 10.25” infotainment touchscreen. It also includes the Keyless-Go package, wireless phone charging, and an advanced sound system.

Safety features include active lane-keeping assist, blind-spot assist, and active brake assist, which can help prevent an accident with autonomous braking.
