Michael Bisping responds to Jake Paul call-out with “in person” proposal

Paul and Bisping have been trading words about a potential fight and the now-retired UFC legend has told his rival to keep the same behaviour if they meet in person

Interview with Jake Paul ahead of Amanda Serrano v Katie Taylor

Michael Bisping has challenged Jake Paul to keep up his trash talk if the pair cross paths in person.

Paul has been pushing for a fight with Bisping since including him on a six-man hitlist of potential opponents for his next fight. The two engaged in a spat on Twitter after Paul offered Bisping $1million if he could get sanctioned for a fight.

Despite Bisping finding a location for the fight, Paul has ended the discussions by asking the now-retired Bisping to prove he is no longer UFC contract. Bisping told Paul to fight fellow UFC legend Anderson Silva instead and told the YouTube star he wouldn’t give him “the steam off his p***”.

Paul claimed he could knockout Bisping in one round whilst explaining that he has a “problem in his head”. Bisping has now told him: “If I’m about that life Jake Paul. I been about that life for 20 years you fool,” he wrote.

Bisping, who hasn’t fought in five years, was in talks to fight Paul last year but he turned down the clash after only being offered $500,000. Paul went on to fight another retired UFC star in Ben Askren, knocking him out in under two minutes.

Paul has challenged UFC boss Dana White to pardon several of his fighters from their contracts to fight him, such as Jorge Masvidal and Conor McGregor. In an expletive-laden rant, Paul told the UFC fighters who have called him to stop “hiding” behind their contracts.

“If anyone wants to talk s***, get in the f***ing ring you p****.,” Paul said. “Masvidal, you p****, all these guys are all talk and they’re all cap. Their dad Dana f***ing owns them. They’re a bunch of p****es that hide behind their f***ing contract. I’m mad!”

“So these guys who think they’re so tough, these UFC champions who think they’re so tough, I’ll beat the f*** out of all of them, and I’ve got time to do it, I’m young, I’ve got time! So any of them can get it, as fast as we can get these deals done, I’m knocking them all out. Bisping wants to talk s***? Cool, let’s get in the ring motherf*****!”
