Michael Jordan was extremely close with members of the 1992 “Dream Team” throughout his professional career.
Unfortunately, one of those friendships has since ended.
Jordan and his Dream Team teammate Charles Barkley have not spoken for years. Barkley was critical of Jordan’s job leading the Charlotte Hornets.
The two have not spoken since.
“He called me and the last thing I heard was ‘Motherf—-er, f— you. You’re supposed to be my boy.’ I said ‘Man, I gotta do my job.’ We haven’t spoken since that night.”
It’s been more than 10 years since that conversation between Barkley and Jordan took place.
According to Barkley, it’s on Jordan to mend the relationship, but it doesn’t sound like that’s going to happen.
That is extremely unfortunate, as friendships get more and more precious as the years go on.
Hopefully, at some point, Barkley and Jordan will be able to figure it out.
