Michael Malone appears to be enjoying himself at Thursday’s championship. So much so, in fact, that he already wants another one.
During Thursday’s celebration, the Denver Nuggets head coach said his team won’t stop at one title.
“We’re not done yet,” Malone declared, via Harrison Wind of DNVR Sports. “We’re some greedy bastards, baby. We’re some greedy bastards. We’re getting another one.”

Malone is fully basking in the glory of his team’s triumph.
The 51-year-old showed up to Denver with a shirt reading, “Put this in your pipe and smoke it” above a picture of the Larry O’Brien Trophy. He walked with swagger before spraying fans with champagne.
An emotional (and perhaps inebriated) Malone echoed the sentiment with a more profane message about successfully defending the title.
“I got a crazy idea … Let’s do this s— again,” Malone said.
Malone spent two decades as a coach — 10 seasons as a head coach with the Sacramento Kings and Nuggets — before getting to win a championship and experience a parade. He doesn’t sound ready to end the party just yet.
