Michelle Williams is pregnant with third child, second with Thomas Kail

Michelle Williams is pregnant again!

“It’s totally joyous,” she told Variety Tuesday, revealing she is expecting her third child in the fall.

The “Fosse/Verdon” star, 41, and her husband, “Hamilton” director Thomas Kail, welcomed their son, Hart, in 2020.

Williams is also a mom to daughter Matilda, 16, from her relationship with late actor Heath Ledger.

“As the years go on, you sort of wonder what they might hold for you or not hold for you. It’s exciting to discover that something you want again and again is available one more time,” she explained of her growing family.

“That good fortune is not lost on me or my family.”

The Oscar nominee said giving birth to Hart during the COVID-19 lockdown put the pandemic into perspective for her.

“It was a reminder that life goes on,” she explained. “The world we brought a baby into is not the world we thought we were bringing a baby into, but the baby is ignorant of that. He experiences the unmitigated joy of discovery and the happiness of a loving home.”

Although being a mother has made Williams a more “committed” actress, she is planning to take a break from the big screen while pregnant.

“There’s nothing that makes you committed to a better world than raising a great kid. It’s the ultimate creative act,” she said, adding, “I wondered if I could work while I was pregnant, but I’m too tired.”

News of Williams and 44-year-old Kail’s whirlwind romance broke in December 2019, just one month before she revealed her baby bump at the Golden Globes.

Upon winning for her role in “Fosse/Verdon” — which her now-husband directed — she made an impassioned speech in support of abortion rights.

“I wouldn’t have been able to do this without employing a woman’s right to choose, to choose when to have my children and with whom,” she said.

The couple secretly tied the knot in March 2020. Williams was previously married to indie rocker Phil Elverum from 2018 to 2019, while Kail was married to actress Angela Christian until 2019.
