If you’re dealing with acne, chances are you have more than one pimple to manage at a time. And when you’re in the middle of an intense breakout, individual pimple patches likely aren’t going to cut it. To help you out on those multi-zit days, Mighty Patch launched a full-face fix to give you comprehensive, all-over coverage.

Mighty Patch Face ($18) includes five large-scale pimple patches that hit key acne zones: your t-zone (forehead and nose), chin, and cheeks. You can cut them down to better fit your face, and use them all together or pick and choose which ones you need based on your current breakout.

Just like the brand’s other, more targeted patches, these are made of thin hydrocolloid material (the same stuff you’d find in a blister bandage), which gently works to shrink your pimples without any popping required. According to Hadley King, MD, a board-certified dermatologist based in New York City, hydrocolloid patches work best on superficial pimples like whiteheads or pustules.

“The hydrocolloid sheet works by absorbing excess fluid, and this pulls oil and dirt away from the pimple,” Dr. King previously told Well+Good. “They generally don’t dry out the skin and leave it flaky, like more classic acne spot treatments containing salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide.”

But, keep in mind that if you’re getting so many pimples that you need a full-face patch set, you also want to work with a dermatologist to figure out the best preventative measures.

“Spot treating is fine, but you’ve already lost the battle,” Dennis Gross, MD, a board-certified dermatologist and founder of Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare, previously told Well+Good. “The important thing is to use something all over your face on a regular basis, at least in the zones where you’re prone to acne in the first place.”

To use the Mighty Patch Face set, start by washing your face. The brand recommends also exfoliating to help loosen the gunk. Then, make sure your skin is fully dry, and apply the patches. Leave them on for six to eight hours—no longer, as that can lead to irritation. Unlike a more inconspicuous single pimple patch, you likely won’t want to wear these out and about. So aim to put them on before bed, and you’ll wake up with cleaner, clearer skin.
