“They lost the game by how many goals, was it 4-0? These are international players who have played in big atmospheres. I’m baffled.”
Newly-appointed Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard has explained his shock at the tactic. However, he praised Arteta for doing all he could to make sure his team were prepared as much as they could be.
Odegaard said: “I think we were all a little bit shocked when he put the music on. It just shows the way he is, he wants to prepare the team in the best possible way and he’s very creative.
“It was a nice and fun way to prepare for that atmosphere. Anfield can be the loudest stadium in the country to play away so I think it was a nice way to prepare the team.”
