Miley Cyrus Singlehandedly Revived the Two-Toned Halo Hair Color Trend

0

Miley Cyrus has had quite the journey with her hair. Some may remember her early Disney days as a brunette with caramel blonde highlights (when she wasn’t moonlighting as Hannah Montana with a blonde wig, of course). Since then, her hair has been bleached to the whitest blonde, chopped into a pixie, and snipped into a mullet. Her latest experimentation is two-toned halo hair with platinum blonde and dark brown hues.

In recent years, this two-toned hair has become somewhat of a signature look for the Disney Channel alum. She attended the 2023 Versace fall/winter fashion show on March 9 with her blonde-and-brown hair styled in loose waves. Her tousled hair was roughly parted down the middle, giving us a full view of her dark roots growing in. We love the contrast between her dark roots, her white-blonde hair, and the brunette underlayer of her hair.

We don’t think it’s a coincidence that her outfit and makeup mimic the light and dark tones in her hair. Her chained, floor-length gown was also two-toned with half of the dress a pale baby pink hue and the other half black. Her cut crease had a shimmery champagne hue on the lids with the darker shades smoked out in her crease and outer eye area. She paired the smoked-out shadows with a simple gloss.
