Millie Bobby Brown reveals who she thinks should’ve died in Stranger Things 4

Millie Bobby Brown is the latest celeb to take a lie detector test for Vanity Fair, and she’s using the opportunity to share all her “controversial” Stranger Things opinions.

During the video interview, MBB gets asked about a variety of topics — from her background to past flat-earther controversies and her career, including some touchy questions about Enola Holmes and, of course, Stranger Things.

The questioning starts with several inconspicuous questions about her on-screen father, played by David Harbour, and her IRL BFF Noah Schnapp’s peculiar haircut on the series. However, the conversation quickly turns sterner when MBB is questioned about her co-star Maya Hawke’s own Vanity Fair lie detector test from September.

During her interview, Maya, who plays Robin on the show, admitted that more characters should have died during season 4 of Stranger Things. Millie is asked whether or not she agrees with the statement, and she does not hesitate to answer. “I do agree, yeah,” the British actor exclaims, scrunching her face in fear.

Millie then goes on to discuss who she thinks should have died, and things get even tenser. After a doubtful answer saying that Eleven should have died that was later flagged as a lie, MBB’s tongue got a bit looser. “I think that anyone other than Eleven should have died,” Millie says. “We are getting closer to what she really thinks,” the polygraph examiner proclaims right after.

“I think that if Maya thinks that, maybe Robin [should have died],” MBB continues in a follow-up question. “If that’s what she’d like for character.” I mean, we do know a beloved character was originally going to be killed off during the season.

Speaking of deaths, Millie is then asked about one of the most controversial moves of Stranger Things 4: Eddie Munson’s fate. Though visibly tense, MBB admits she thinks Eddie’s death was justified, and the polygraph does not flag it as a lie. Another controversial take, MBB is asked whether she thinks Steve and Nancy belong together, which she roundly denies. (Instead, she thinks Nancy should pick Jonathan.)

However, the end of the video does hide a significant twist: Millie Bobby Brown lied during the interview, and she was not caught — so now it’s up to us to decide which of these opinions are legit and which ones are not.
