TV Chosun’s “Mister Trot 2” went out with a bang!
On March 16, the hit audition show achieved its highest viewership ratings yet for its live finale. According to Nielsen Korea, the final episode of “Mister Trot 2” scored an average nationwide rating of 24.0 percent, wrapping up a perfect 13-week streak at first place in its time slot.
Meanwhile, tvN’s “The Heavenly Idol”—which airs in an overlapping time slot with “Mister Trot 2” on Thursdays—fell to an average nationwide rating of 1.4 percent ahead of the final week of its run. The fantasy drama has consistently seen its ratings dip on Thursdays (due to “Mister Trot 2”) before bouncing back on Wednesdays.
Finally, ENA’s “Delivery Man” maintained its average nationwide rating of 1.0 percent for its latest episode.
