The My Name Is Earl actor, who is now 24, debuted his new ‘do at the star-studded premiere of Shazam! Fury of the Gods, which was also attended by Helen Mirren and Adam Brody.
At the LA-based glitzy bash on Tuesday, Rico showcased his curly locks, a far cry from his days as Manny, who always had cropped hair.
Keeping it smart-casual, the iCarly actor sported a baseball-style jacket over a black T-shirt and matching trousers, paired with khaki trainers.
Rico’s first film credit was in 2007 in Epic Movie, before notching up TV credits in small roles on shows such as ER and Nip/Tuck
Since Modern Family ended, he appeared as a contestant on Double Dare and Nickelodeon prank show The Substitute.
Most recently, he was on game programme Unfiltered, which sees panelists try to guess who the celebrity is behind an animated filter.
Modern Family ran for 11 years and eventually came to an end in 2020, with the first season airing way back in 2009.
The mockumentary-style programme followed the children of the Pritchett and Dunphy households, played by Rico, Sarah Hyland, Ariel Winter, Nolan Gould, and Aubrey Anderson-Emmons.
Throughout the 250 episodes, viewers watched on as the children grew up and found their feet as young adults.
It also starred Eric Stonestreet, Ed O’Neil, Ty Burrell and Nolan Gould.
