Liverpool fans were stunned when Mohamed Salah only finished seventh in this year’s Ballon d’Or.
While much of the focus was on Robert Lewandowski being usurped by Lionel Messi as he claimed his seventh crown, Salah’s finishing spot stunned Anfield regulars.

Klopp meanwhile has been praised for his current balancing act, after seeing rivals Chelsea stall this week against West Ham and Zenit St Petersburg.
