Morgan State takes the trip to McKale Memorial Center on Thursday night to face the vaunted Arizona offense.
Arizona basketball scored a massive win over the weekend at home against Tennessee and now stay home ahead of PAC-12 play starting next week. The team hosts Morgan State, a team happy to play at the pace that the Wildcats prefer with intense ball pressure.
Will the Bears stay within a massive number or will Arizona continue to dominate on offense?
Let’s check out the odds:

Morgan State vs. Arizona Prediction and Pick
Arizona boasts the best effective field goal percentage in the country, centered around its incredible interior presence with 6’11” Azuolas Tubelis and 7′ Oumar Ballo anchoring a unit that is shooting 61% on two-point tries.
Morgan State plays at a top 100 pace, mainly because their defense is built around forcing turnovers and playing in transition. The team turns opponents over at a near-25% clip (18th) in the country, but they get gashed inside, allowing a bottom 10 defensive rebounding rate and free throw rate.
I don’t expect many stops in this one as Morgan State is outside the top 300 in effective field goal percentage, but I’m not rushing to lay this number considering head coach Tommy Lloyd may take out his key rotation guys early in hopes of staying fresh for PAC-12 play. Instead, I’ll look to the over. If Arizona doesn’t turn the ball over this could quickly become a layup line.
