Five teams are participating in the inaugural WPL and all the matches are being played in Mumbai.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB-W), Mumbai Indians (MI-W), Delhi Capitals (DC-W), UP Warriorz (UPW) and Gujarat Giants (GG) are the five teams in the inaugural season. The tournament started on March 4 and will continue till March 26.
In the very first match, India and Mumbai Indians (MI-W) captain Harmanpreet Kaur played a blistering knock of 65 runs. And we have also witnessed some outstanding batting by Delhi Capitals batter Shafali Verma, who is currently at the top of the run-scoring tally in WPL.
