Move aside dads — MUM BODS are now a thing

“Mum bod” — it’s a phrase most women usually want to avoid after childbirth, feeling the pressure to snap back to how they looked before pregnancy.

Now a new crusade of women is sweeping the internet, fighting against the ‘bounce back’ stigma.

They’re tired of feeling down on themselves, now embracing and celebrating their bodies for creating and carrying life — stretch marks, cellulite, bellies and all.

Bethanie Garcia, a young US mother of five, boasts an online following of over 205,000 people.

Bethanie shares snaps of herself in swimwear and underwear, chatting all things self love, sex life and motherhood.
