MPL 2023 Final: When will be RJ vs KT rescheduled match?

Ratnagiri Jets and Kolhapur Tuskers are locking horns in the Final of the inaugural MPL season. The two teams were supposed to meet for the championship clash at the MCA stadium in Pune.

The final was originally scheduled for Thursday (June 29) but heavy rain in Pune postponed the match without a ball being bowled.

Thursday had a massive rain warning and it poured in cats and dogs, resulting in the match getting postponed to the reserve day.

The Jets and the Tuskers have been by far the best teams in the tournament, and will be hoping to have a game to determine the winner of the MPL 2023 season.

When will the MPL 2023 Final start?

The revised final of MPL is scheduled to start at 11 AM IST on Friday. It is scheduled to be a full 20 overs match and will follow the normal routine of a match.

But for the MPL fans, even Friday is carrying some bad news in terms of weather. The rain is predicted to continue on Friday as well, with a precipitation chance of 90 per cent and more from 9 am to 4 pm and beyond.

It is to be seen how things pan out on Friday, but chances of the match getting played looks like a big question mark.

Who will be crowned MPL 2023 Champions if Rain washes out on Friday?

This is a massive question mark for the tournament. MyKhel can’t confirm if MPL 2023 has multiple reserve days, but if IPL rules had been followed here, Ratnagiri Jets would have won the title.

Both Ratnagiri Jets and Kolhapur Tuskers finished with 8 points at the group stage, but a superior Net Run Rate meant the Jets got the pole position in the league table. And on the virtue of group stage positions, Ratnagiri Jets would be the crowned champions.
