A Muay Thai fighter has been mocked for his new tattoo which may not carry the message he intended.
Jimmy Vienot, 26, proudly showed off his “Muay Thai” tattoo only to be told it was actually a rude insult.
The reigning middleweight SUPERKOMBAT kickboxing champion shared a photo of his new ink which stretches the length of his forearm.
But his tattoo artist appeared to get one letter wrong when inking the “Muay Thai” script into Vienot’s skin.
Fans on social media were quick to mock the Frenchman, pointing out how “one small change can make all the difference.”
Instead of a tribute to the martial art, they claim that the tattoo reads “Kuay Thai” which translates to “Thai Dick.”
One person said: “I hope this is a photoshopped shot.”
Another commented: “Go burn the tattoo shop.”

A third joked “oh my Buddha” with a shocked emoji face.
While another explained: “It actually has to be the letter of ม not ฆ .
“It’s the letter ม that gives you the sound of M – Muey มวย Thai ไทย.
“The letter ฆ gives you the sound of C and this meaning could go wrong in an appropriated way. Just so you know. Fix it right.”
Despite the ridicule, some appreciated Vienot’s efforts and attempt at honouring the sport.
“You still hot, no matter Kuay or Muay,” one person said.

While others appeared to miss the point entirely posting nothing but flame emojis.
Vienot’s post has racked up more than 2,300 likes and 400 comments since the picture was posted on Monday.
Prior to his SUPERKOMBAT victory, Vienot became the fourth non Thai fighter to win the Lumpinee Stadium title in 2019.
A month later, he went on to have his biggest kickboxing rules success yet by beating Vedat Hoduk and taking home the newly created Arena Fight title.
He also won the IFMA World championship and received the award for “Best athlete” of the competition that same year.
In 2021, Vienot faced Yodwicha Banchamek for the WMC Middleweight Championship and won by decision.
Lat month, he madehis ONE Championship debut on May 20 for the ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Championship. He lost the fight by split decision.
