Muhammad Mokaev is the UFC London fighter to watch

Muhammad Mokaev is the UFC London fighter you need to keep an eye on.

The UFC London card may not seem like the most spectacular for those accustomed to the pa-per-view cards, but the Fight Night card that will be airing on Saturday, July 23 is going to feature a wide array of fighters. The main card is pleasantly packed with fighters you’ll want to watch but the prelim isn’t. A lot of the prelim has guys who are on a losing streak or are racking up more losses than wins. That is, save for Muhammad Mokaev.

On a prelim card that is mostly made up of middling talents, Mokaev stands out among the pack. The 7-0 fighter is a finishing fiend, closing out five of his seven fights on his own without any judges to worry about. Finishing two via TKO, and the other three by submission.

While Mokaev is 7-0, he’s not technically undefeated, having suffered a no-contest ruling in his fight against Ibragim Navruzov. Narvuzov took a groin kick and couldn’t continue. Despite Mokaev claiming Naruvzov faked the injury, you can clearly see his kick catch the trunks leading up to the groin.

Muhammad Mokaev may be someone to worry about in the UFC flyweight division

The UFC flyweight division currently has Deiveson Figueiredo reigning at the top of the card, but if Mokaev is as talented as he appears in his fledgling career, it may not be too long before Mokaev is knocking on the door of the champion, whoever it may be.

That’s an awfully long way off, however, and fans should be tuning in to see Mokaev at the event on Saturday to see if he’s really as talented as his zero losses would indicate.
