Abbas Afridi and Usama Mir also added to their good spell with 2/33 and 3/22 spells respectively, making Multan Sultans a force to reckon with at PSL 2023.
Among other bowlers, Sameen Gul, who took 2/20 a game ago, proved costly with 26 runs in two overs. Carlos Brathwaite replaced compatriot Akeal Hosein to deliver a credible 22/1 (3 overs)

Islamabad United have no injuries reported going into the game as well. The team defeated Karachi Kings by four wickets and looked largely at comfort during the chase with its middle order firing in a 176-run chase.
Colin Munro fired a 28-ball 58 to revive the chase after openers Paul Stirling and Hassan Nawaz had an off-day. Rassie van der Dussen showed some form too with a 25-ball 31.
Wicket-keeper Azam Khan brought his form from Bangladesh Premier League to PSL too with a 28-ball 44, making the chase comfortable.
Among bowlers, Rumman Raees brought his form from Kashmir Premier League with a spell of 2/26. Mohammad Wasim and Tom Curran took a couple of wickets as well but proved costly as the duo together gave away 80 runs. All-rounder Faheem Ashraf took a wicket as well while giving away just 25 runs.
Skipper Shadab Khan’s recent form’s a worry as well as he gave away 40 runs in four overs.
