and

continue
up
to
May
28
as
ten
teams
fight
out
for
the
coveted
glory.
The
IPL
this
year
will
be
played
around
the
country
for
the
first
time
since
the
COVID-19
pandemic.

Indians
IPL
2023
Group:
Mumbai
Indians
(MI)
have
been
drawn
into
Group
A.
This
year,
the
teams
of
the
same
group
will
face
each
other
once
(Home
or
Away),
while
they
will
face
the
teams
from
the
other
group
twice
(Home
and
Away),
thus
maintaining
the
equilibrium
of
14
games
per
team
during
the
group
stage.
Mumbai
Indians
are
slotted
in
Group
A
along
with
Kolkata
Knight
Riders,
Rajasthan
Royals,
Delhi
Capitals
and
Lucknow
Super
Giants.
Group
B
consists
of
Gujarat
Titans,
Chennai
Super
Kings,
Royal
Challengers
Bangalore,
Punjab
Kings
and
Sunrisers
Hyderabad.
Hence
MI
will
face
all
the
Group
B
teams
twice,
and
face
all
the
Group
A
teams
once
in
the
group
stage.
Mumbai
Indians
Fixtures:
MI
will
play
their
first
match
against
Royal
Challengers
Bangalore
on
April
2.
Their
first
home
game
is
against
arch-rivals
Chennai
Super
Kings
on
April
8,
which
is
also
going
to
be
the
1000th
IPL
game
in
history.
MI
travel
to
Delhi
then
on
April
11
and
subsequently
host
the
Knight
Riders
on
April
16.
MI
will
play
three
afternoon
fixtures
(matches
starting
at
3.30
PM
IST)
in
the
campaign
–
against
KKR
(April
16),
CSK
(May
6)
and
SRH
(May
21).
The
Rohit
Sharma-led
side
are
the
most
successful
franchise
in
IPL
history
with
five
titles.
They
will
play
Group
A
sides
KKR
and
RR
at
home,
while
facing
LSG
and
DC
in
away
fixtures.
