The Idol
Where to watch: Crave
First up, let’s start with the Weeknd’s debut on tv!

Created by Sam Levinson (the creator of Euphoria), the Idol stars Abel Tesfaye (from Uncut Gems) as a cult leader who has his eyes set on a new inductee called Jocelyn (played by Lily-Rose Depp from Yoga Hosers and the King). She’s a failed pop musician who had a nervous breakdown which led to the cancellation of her tour. She’s hoping to get back out there and take over the pop culture world, and with the help of this charming, enigmatic and dangerous cult leader she just might. This show also features Jane Adams (from All the Light in the Sky), Dan Levy (from Schitt’s Creek) and Eli Roth (from Inglorious Basterds).

I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson (Season 3)
Where to watch: Netflix
Next up, it’s the return of one of the best modern sketch comedies!
I Think You Should Leave, starring Tim Robinson (from Detroiters), is a sketch show with one simple premise. Every single sketch depicts an awkward scenario taken WAY too far. From an HR employee feeling amazing after she lands a joke, to a guy trying to start a pay it forward chain at the drive-through, to the majesty of the surprisingly unprofitable Driving Crooner, this show has it all! This season also features appearances from Tim Heidecker (from Us), Ayo Edebiri (from the Bear), and Jason Schwartzman (from Moonrise Kingdom).

iCarly (Season 3)
Where to watch: Paramount+
Now, it’s time for the latest season of this revival of a Nickelodeon classic!

iCarly finds Carly Shay (played by Miranda Cosgrove from School of Rock) back in Seattle, and once again working on her popular webshow. This new season sees her beginning to question her growing feelings for Freddie (played by Nathan Kress from Star Wars Rebels), and she decides to create a new reality show to distract herself from those feelings. But maybe he’s got feelings for her too, and they might just decide to finally give it a shot. This show also stars Jerry Trainor (from Crossing Jordan), and Laci Mosley (from A Black Lady Sketch Show).

Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets
Where to watch: Prime Video
Next up, a documentary about what really happened behind the scenes of a very famous tv family!
Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets focuses on the Duggar family, who were the stars of the TLC reality show 19 Kids and Counting. They’re a Baptist family who named each of their 19 children something starting with J, and whose fame quickly turned to infamy after the child pornography investigation of the eldest child Josh Duggar. This documentary specifically focuses on the family’s relationship with the Institute for Basic Life Principles, a Christian organization many have called a cult. This documentary promises shocking reveals, many coming from members of the family who have turned against the teachings.

Last but certainly not least, a trip to the Spider-Verse!

He re-unites with his fellow Spider-Person Gwen (played by Hailee Steinfeld from Hawkeye) who introduces him to the Spider-Society. That’s a team filled with hundreds of Spider-People from across the multiverse led by Spider-Man 2099 (played by Oscar Isaac from Moon Knight). However, in fighting a new villain, Miles realizes all spider-verses are fated to go through a canon event that involves the death of a close family member. When Miles decides to try to stop his, the Spider-Society turns against him and begins to hunt him down.
