Book Club: The Next Chapter is a sequel to the 2018 film Book Club. The four main leads, Jane Fonda (from Grace and Frankie), Diane Keaton (from Annie Hall), Mary Steenburgen (from Melvin and Howard), and Candice Bergen (from Murphy Brown), are back and this time they’re taking a trip to Italy! Fonda’s character is getting married to her love interest from the last film (played by Don Johnson from Knives Out) and the ladies wanna take her on a bachelorette trip to the country of love! They might be getting old, but they’re absolutely still got it! This film also stars Craig T. Nelson (from the Incredibles), Andy García (from Ocean’s Eleven), and Hugh Quarshie (from Highlander).

The Mother

Next up, some motherly action!
The Mother is a thriller starring Jennifer Lopez (from Selena and Hustlers) as a military operative who is attacked after becoming an FBI informant. Shortly after she gives birth, and to protect the child she agrees to let her be raised by a foster family never aware of her true mother. Years later, her daughter Zoe (played by Lucy Paez from Silencio) is kidnapped. The Mother decides to come out of hiding to find her, protect her, and harm the people who tried to harm her daughter. This film also stars Joseph Fiennes (from the Handmaid’s Tale), Omari Hardwick (from Power), and Gael García Bernal (from Werewolf by Night).

Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie

Now, a documentary about a cinematic legend!
Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie is about (you guessed it) the iconic Canadian actor Michael J. Fox (from Back to the Future and Spin City). The film focuses on his lack of stillness. In the early 1980s, his career began to move faster and faster as be became a teen idol, and than a star of screens big and small. And eventually he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, which kept him moving but brought his career to a standstill. Now in his 60s, he’s still going and he won’t let anything stop him.

Crater

Next up, a trip to the moon!
Crater is a film about a boy called Caleb (played by Isaiah Russell-Bailey from We Can Be Heroes) who lives on the moon. His father (played by Scott Mescudi from Bill & Ted Face the Music) recently died, and his final wish was that his son would be taken to a proper planet called Omega. Caleb doesn’t want to leave, because he wants to find a crater that his dad always told him about. So he teams up with some other children to steal a lunar rover and go find that crater. This films also stars Mckenna Grace (from Gifted), Billy Barratt (from Invasion), and Selenis Leyva (from Orange Is the New Black).

Mulligan

Last but not least, an animated series about what happens after the end of the world!
Mulligan is a new show starring Nat Faxon (from Disenchantment) as Matty Mulligan. He’s a schmuck who happened to save the world from an alien invasion after most humans were killed off. He’s since been declared the President of the very tiny population of Earth, and he’s got to figure out how to keep society going as well as staving off any future alien invasions. This show also stars Tina Fey (from 30 Rock), Sam Richardson (from Veep), and Chrissy Teigen (from Bring the Funny).
