Nimona stars Chloë Grace Moretz (from Kick-Ass and Let Me In) as a shape-shifting girl living in a futuristic version of a medieval kingdom. She encounters a commoner (played by Riz Ahmed from Sound of Metal) who’s accused of killing the Queen. The two of them team up to help clear his name and keep her safe, because just about every single knight in this kingdom wants to put down what they see as the shapeshifting monster. This film also stars Lorraine Toussaint (from Orange is the New Black), Indya Moore (from Pose), and Frances Conroy (from Six Feet Under).

Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken is a film about a teenage kraken called (you guessed it) Ruby Gillman (played by Lana Condor from To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before). She’s an average 15 year old girl living in a seaside town with your usual teenage girl problems. Boy trouble, new girl is really popular, the usual. Except this new girl (played by Annie Murphy from Black Mirror) is secretly a mermaid, one of the most evil creatures in the entire ocean. Ruby’s got to finally learn how to harness her Kraken powers and defeat this mermaid before her family is wiped out. This film also stars Toni Collette (from Hereditary), Sam Richardson (from Detroiters), and Jane Fonda (from Grace and Frankie).

Jack Ryan (Season 4)

Next up, some intense spy drama!

The fourth and final season of Jack Ryan is here! When we last left Ryan (played by John Krasinski from A Quiet Place), he had become the acting deputy director of the C.I.A. He now finds himself dealing with a terrorist organization that appears to have partnered with a drug cartel, and he’ll have to do anything to stop them from ruining the world. He’ll even have to team up with a new ally, Ding Chavez (played by Michael Peña from Ant-Man). This show also stars Betty Gabriel (from Get Out), Abbie Cornish (from the Virtuoso), and Michael Kelly (from House of Cards).

Hijack

Now, a thriller 40,000 feet in the air!

Hijack is a new British series about a plane that gets captured by terrorists while it’s travelling from Dubai to London. Idris Elba (from the Suicide Squad) plays Sam, a corporate negotiator who tries to keep the terrorists from killing anyone on the plane. He’s also able to inform a London Police Detective (played by Max Beesley from Operation Fortune), who’s able to get the police investigating at Heathrow. This show also stars Neil Maskell (from Peaky Blinders), Christine Adams (from Black Lightning), and Eve Myles (from Torchwood).

The Witcher (Season 3, Volume 1)

Last but certainly not least, a return to Netflix’s smash fantasy sensation!

It might not be the last season of the Witcher, but it is the last time we’ll Henry Cavill (from Man of Steel) in the role. This season has been split up in two, with the first batch of five episodes out now! Geralt is much more worried about the upcoming war, and how that could affect his foster daughter Ciri (played by Freya Allen from Gunpowder Milkshake). The two of them continue their travels, and their witching, all the while war seems to be coming and closer and closer. This show also stars Graham McTavish (from Preacher), Eamon Ferren (from Lingua Franca), and Anya Chalotra (from Wanderlust).

You can watch the first volume on Netflix now, with the second one coming out in late July!
