The Legend of Vox Machina is an animated show based off of a Dungeons and Dragons campaign from the web show Critical Role. Several of the actors who appeared in Critical Role also appear in this show, including Laura Bailey (from Soul Eater and her award-winning performance in the Last of Us Part II), Travis Willingham (from Psychonauts 2) and Ashley Johnson (from Blindspot and the Last of Us). Vox Machina is a mercenary group with a bad reputation, and they’re hoping to shed that by slaying a dragon. But old enemies pop up, complicating their mission.

The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window is a new show that parodies thrillers like the Woman in the Window. It stars Kristen Bell (from the Good Place and Veronica Mars) as the titular woman in the house across the street from the girl in the window. She’s an alcoholic with a pills problem, and she believes she saw a murder happen across the street. Nobody believes her, so she has to investigate this (possibly hallucinated) crime all on her own. This show also stars Tom Riley (from Kill Your Friends), Mary Holland (from Happiest Season) and Cameron Britton (from Mindhunter).

Hit-Monkey

Next up, it’s time for a trip to Japan by way of Marvel!
Hit-Monkey is a new show based on a Marvel Comics character by the same name. Hit-Monkey (voiced by Fred Tatasciore, who’s been the voice of Yosemite Sam and the Hulk, among several others) is a Japanese macaque who gains a connection with an American assassin (played by Jason Sudeikis from Ted Lasso and Colossal). The assassin is killed, but not before he passes on several of his deadly skills to Hit-Monkey. The assassin’s ghost accompanies Hit-Monkey to Tokyo, where the two of them look for vengeance. This show also stars Olivia Munn (from the Newsroom and the Predator), Ally Maki (from Wrecked and Toy Story 4), and George Takei (from Star Trek and Heroes).

In From the Cold

Now, it’s time for some intense action!
In From the Cold is a new show about an American mother with a deadly past. Jenny (played by Margarita Levieva from Adventureland) used to be known as Anya, a deadly Russian assassin. After several kills, Anya disappeared and became Jenny. But now travelling to Barcelona with her daughter, she’s discovered by a CIA agent (played by Cillian O’Sullivan from Vikings). She’s then forced back into a life of murder and international intrigue, while trying to figure out a way to get out of the game and back to her daughter.

We Need To Talk About Cosby

Lastly, a documentary about a man who started as an icon of the African-American community, and who ended up as a horrible criminal.
We Need To Talk About Cosby is a new docuseries created by W. Kamau Bell, a stand-up comedian and host of the CNN show United Shades of America. In this new show from Showtime examining the reaction to the news that Bill Cosby had drugged and sexually assaulted several women, over the course of numerous decades. What made this tricky for a lot of people was the fact that he was a comedian, the first major black sitcom star, and a hero to most black Americans.
