Dangerous Liaisons
Where to watch: Netflix
First up, let’s start with a modern update of a classic novel!
Dangerous Liaisons is the latest adaptation of Les Liaisons dangereuses. It had been famously adapted into a 1988 film starring Glenn Close, John Malkovich, and Michelle Pfeifer, as well as a beloved high school adaptation from the 90s called Cruel Intentions (starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, Reese Witherspoon, and Ryan Phillipe). This modern version is set in France, and follows the attempts of two rich students/influencers to see if one of them can seduce a new girl in town.

He leaves them when he hears of a God Butcher called Gorr (played by Christian Bale from American Psycho) going around slaughtering gods, and heads back to New Asgard.
