First up, a psychological thriller!
The Crowded Room is a miniseries based off of the book the Minds of Billy Milligan. Tom Holland (from Spider-Man: No Way Home) plays Danny Sullivan (based off of Billy Milligan). He’s a really shy, awkward guy who never got a break in life. He has an issue with his memories, forgetting chunks of his daily life. One day, he’s suddenly arrested by police for a horrific crime but he insists he didn’t do it. The detective investigating (played by Amanda Seyfried from the Dropout) begins to suspect maybe he didn’t actually commit this crime. This show also stars Emmy Rossum (from Shameless), Will Chase (from Nashville), and Sasha Lane (from How to Blow Up a Pipeline).

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts

Next up, the Autobots are back!
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is the seventh film in the series. It’s a sequel to Bumblebee and a prequel to the main Transformers series. Set during the mid 90s, this film features two young Americans (played by Anthony Ramos from In the Heights and Dominque Fishback from Swarm) encountering the classic Autobots as well as a new group of Transformers called the Maximals. Able to assume animal forms, these robots are warning the main characters about a planet-eating Transformer called Unicron (voiced by Colman Domingo from Euphoria). This film also stars Peter Dinklage (from Game of Thrones), Michelle Yeoh (from Everything Everywhere All At Once) and Pete Davidson (from Bupkis).

Flamin’ Hot

Now, it’s time for a biopic about a beloved snack!
Flamin’ Hot is the first film directed by Eva Longoria (from Desperate Housewives), and it’s about the invention of the Flamin’ Hot Cheeto, which was reportedly created by Ricardo Montañez (played by Jesse Garcia from Narcos: Mexico). He works as a janitor at the Frito Lay corporation, but one day he decides that to make his mark on the world he’s got to create the tastiest snack ever. After intense labouring, he figures out the perfect spicy snack. Now he’s just got to learn how to market it and convince his bosses to buy it. This film also stars Emilio Rivera (from Mayans M.C.), Dennis Haysbert (from 24), and Tony Shalhoub (from the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel).

The Lake (Season 2)

Next up, some Canadian cottage content!
The Lake is a show starring Jordan Gavaris (from Orphan Black) and Julia Stiles (from 10 Things I Hate About You). They play adult step-siblings who spend their summers up north in cottage country. His brings his biological daughter (played by Madison Shamoun from Black-ish) to decompress every summer, and hopefully become a little closer to her. This show also stars Terry Chen (from Falling), and Jon Dore (from Humour Resources).

Never Have I Ever (Season 4)

Last but certainly not least, the final season of this coming-of-age sensation!
Never Have I Ever stars Mississauga’s own Maitreyi Ramakrishnan (from Turning Red) as a high schooler looking to lose her virginity. She finally did so with close friend Ben (played by Jaren Lewison from Tag), but things have been very awkward between them since. As her and her friends enter their last year of high school, will she be able to maintain a friendship (or more) with Ben? Or will the stresses of being 17 years old ruin any relationship they might have? This show also stars Poorna Jagannathan (from The Night Of), Ramona Young (from Z Nation) and Darren Barnet (from Untitled Horror Movie).
