One of the best sitcoms of the 2000s has returned, but this time it’s taking us to the 1990s! But will it top the MUST-WATCH Top 10, or could that go to one of the final films of a famous action star? Perhaps the return of a 2020s animated classic? You’ll have to keep reading to find out!

That ’90s Show

Where to watch: Netflix

First up, a return to the basement!

That ’90s Show is a sequel to That 70s Show (and not That 80s Show) starring Kurtwood Smith (from RoboCop) and Debra Jo Rupp (from Big) returning in their beloved roles as Red and Kitty. But instead of strictly parents this time, they are now grandparents to Leia Forman (played by newcomer Callie Haverda). She’s the daughter of Eric and Donna (played by Topher Grace and Laura Prepon, who both return) from the original show, who have sent Leia to stay with their grandparents in Wisconsin for the summer. She meets a bunch of new teens that she starts hanging out in the basement with, including a Riot grrrl, a young gay guy, and a videographer who might be related to some of the other main characters.

This vigilante (played by Jack Kilmer from Lords of Chaos) is dressed in a police uniform and is going around gunning down random people. Detective Knight will once again have to hit the streets of L.A. and find this vigilante before more damage is done. This film also stars Lochlyn Munro (from Riverdale), Jimmy Jean-Louis (from Heroes), and Willow Shields (from the Hunger Games).

Next up, it’s time for some more intense action on the streets of L.A.!

Ambulance is the most recent Michael Bay film, and it stars Jake Gyllenhaal (from Donnie Darko), Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (from Watchmen), and Eiza González (from Baby Driver). Gyllenhaal and Abdul-Mateen II play adopted brothers, the former is a career criminal, and the latter is a Marine. Abdul-Mateen II needs money, so he goes to his brother desperate for anything. He offers him a job, a simple daytime bank robbery. But the robbery goes wrong, a cop gets shot, and the two brothers hijack the cop’s ambulance. González plays the EMT trapped in the ambulance with them, trying to keep the cop alive while trying to keep the brother’s heads cool. And as she tries to save this officer’s life, the entirety of the LAPD and several members of the FBI chase them across the city.
