My Unorthodox Life season two is nearly here – and we’re so ready for all the drama and glamour

My Unorthodox Life is soon returning for a second season, and we cannot wait to continue following Julia Haart’s journey.

Back in July 2021, the first season of the reality show premiered on the popular streaming service and quickly became a hit thanks to its Sex and the City meets Keeping Up With the Kardashians approach to glamour, family relationships and drama.

The show focused on the life of Julia Haart, the CEO of modelling agency Elite World Group, her husband Silvio Scaglia Haart, and her four children—Batsheva, Shlomo, Miriam, and Aron— as they adjusted to life after leaving an ultra-orthodox branch of the Jewish faith in Monsey, New York. While Julia spends most of her time in Manhattan, the show revealed that she frequently travelled to Monsey to see her youngest son Aron, who lives with his father, Julia’s first husband. 

With Julia doing her best to balance her career and motherhood duties, her children also navigated their own journeys to find themselves in their lives, ambitions and relationships. With the additive first series having aired over a year ago, we can soon finally find out what the clan have been up to as the second series hits Netflix.

What will My Unorthodox Life season 2 about?

The initial synopsis by Netflix of season 2 of My Unorthodox Life revealed that the show will feature “more fashion, family, female empowerment, faith, fabulousness, and of course, Haart.” However, a lot has happened since season one, which viewers will see unwinding onscreen. 

Julia has since gotten a divorce from her husband and business partner, Silvio. The new season will see the rug swept under her feet as she reveals that Silvio has fired her while barring her from all business endeavours and locking her out of her email account. Julia’s daughter Batsheva is also newly single after ending her marriage, while her other daughter Miriam debuts her new girlfriend.

Meanwhile, Julia butts heads with her youngest son Aron as he expresses his desire for a more devout life and to attend an Orthodox yeshiva instead of a secular school. We’re ready for all the drama!

Who will star in My Unorthodox Life season 2? 

As far as we know, we can expect to see Julia and all her four children back for season two. It is unclear whether Ben, who was married to Batsheva for nine years, will return.
