A popular item for young children sold at Myer stores has been urgently recalled over safety fears.
Customers who have purchased the Jack & Milly Koala silicone “sippy cup” should immediately stop using the product.
Product Safety Australia has issued a warning that the silicone on the cups may be defective.
The consumer watchdog says the defect may cause the silicone to tear and detach from the product.

If part of the silicone detaches from the cup, it may pose a choking or ingestion hazard to small children, which can lead to serious injury or death.
Customers should return the product to a Myer store as soon as possible for a refund.
A receipt is not required to obtain a refund in this instance.
People with questions should contact Myer’s customer service team.
