We adore Tia Mowry-Hardrict for her acting chops, but I would be remiss to not mention how she’s mastered TikTok and Instagram by influencing the majority of my hair choices. If you’re like me, protective styles are the way to go for black hair, and her styles of braids — with designs so detailed — make me swoon.
There’s no question that Mowry-Hardrict is among my favorite celebrities who make such elaborate braids look so easy. She glimmered on our timelines on January 4 with opulent, beaded braids. And who could miss the blue-streaked braids, presented cleverly with transitions, on TikTok on April 4? When it comes to the beauty looks, she simply reigns supreme.
We’re just fortunate to have peeped a portion of the process it takes to accomplish one of her hairstyles. For our viewing pleasure by way of Instagram on May 10, Mowry-Hardrict posted a Reel with hairstylist Marquita Lynch of N-ovation Styles. She’s captured getting four medium-sized, straight-back cornrows that are connected behind her ears just before they fall gloriously to her hips into curls.
