NARS’ Air Matte Lip Colours are back – along with five new shades too

Calling all lip fanatics! Have you been on the hunt for the perfect shade for the upcoming party season? Perhaps next date night or evening out out with your friends? Well look no further than NARS – as their popular Air Matte Lip Colours are coming back, with all new shades too.

The Air Matte Lip Colours launched back in January, exclusively at Selfridges – and sold out within the launch week as everyone loved them so much.

So NARS have listened to the customers and have brought the five best selling shades back permanently, along with five new shades!

The five new shades include NARS’ most iconic colours we all know and love including the well-known Dragon Girl, Dolce Vita and Morocco – which was one of the very first lipsticks Mr.Nars launched with back in 1994.

These have launched along the new shades Loose Control and Surrender – which we think is the perfect brown nude for this time of year.

The NARS Air Matte Lip Colours are available now, exclusively at Selfridges for £23 each, narscosmetics.co.uk and NARS boutiques. They will be available from all other retailers from the 11th November 2021.

Best part about the Air Matte range? They are super soft, matte lip colours that move with your lips – and don’t bleed into your skin, or dry them out either. Which, if like us you love a matte shade, is basically unheard of.

The cushiony, air-kissed pigments add colour onto your lips that you can barely feel, whilst the Colour Diffusion Complex creates a soft-focus finish, with a creamy feel.

You too can build and blend your perfect lip colour to perfection with the custom designed applicator for a look that’s covetable, and comfortable.

NARS Global Artist, Vincent Ford said: “When it comes to matte lip products they tend to be more liquid or cream based. The Air Matte Lip Colours are lighter weight and feel creamy and airy. They contain micro-powders which gives the appearance of a soft diffused lip but are super comfortable to wear.”

When it comes to applying the colour, Vincent let us in to some top tricks from the top! “You can apply Air Matte Lip Color with either the doe foot applicator for more coverage or with your fingertips to create a soft diffused look.”

As for his favourite shade? It’s “Dragon Girl. It’s this beautiful orangey red with just enough warmth to really pop in photos.”
