On Thursday, the NBA released its “Last Two Minute Report” regarding Game 4 between the Nuggets and Lakers. Fans of the 17-time champions may want to look away.

The NBA revealed that officials made a critical error with less than a minute remaining on the clock.

With 56.7 seconds left, the officials said that Denver regained possession of a loose ball. However, the “Last Two Minute Report” showed that Los Angeles should’ve been awarded possession. That’s because the loose ball went off Jamal Murray’s hand.

Nuggets star Nikola Jokic scored on the very next play to give his squad a 113-111 lead. That turned out to be the game-winning bucket.

Obviously, this is the last thing that Lakers fans want to hear right now.

The good news, however, is that Los Angeles already faced a massive deficit in the Western Conference finals. It’s not like this botched call prevented the Lakers from advancing to the NBA Finals.

If the right call was made on the floor, however, we may have had a Game 5 between the Lakers and Nuggets.
