It looks like Draymond Green is going to be on the sidelines after all following his ejection Monday night.
The NBA announced late Tuesday that Green has been hit with a one-game suspension for stepping on the chest of Sacramento Kings star Domantas Sabonis during the Warriors’ Game 2 loss. The news comes after reports yesterday afternoon said a suspension was not forthcoming.
“The suspension was based in part on green’s history of unsportsmanlike acts,” the NBA’s statement reads.
Green’s stomp occurred after Sabonis grabbed the Golden State forward’s right ankle, which resulted in a technical foul for the Kings’ big man.
Still, the circumstances were not enough to prevent Green from being banned for Game 3 of the series.

The third-seeded Kings currently lead the series against the No. 6 seed Warriors, two games to none.
Game 3 is set for 10 p.m. ET Thursday night in San Francisco.
